i kind of want that nissan here in europe, importing one is practical but steering wheel on the right would probably get annoying for me for a daily driver

This was WONDERFUL!!! Stateside, in motorsports we had a guy named Steve, i will call him Steve H, who came from racing Fiat X1/9s that worked out a method to make both the aw11 and sw20 spin-free but still eager to turn in, he competed for years for championships in our version of Gymkhana, "Solo II" with his AW11. He was more guarded about his AW11 setup but he noticed the need for and spread knowledge eagerly about the SW20. Simple but very important revisions that made a huge difference which for anyone who raced Solo II in last 20 years is why the SW20 shot up in various stock-suspension modified classes especially around the 2008-2015 era, and started winning under so many other names and drivers. I always wondered about why i never heard much about the AW11 from Tsuchiya but it makes sense, and felt genuinely awesome hearing the SW20 development he worked on but that I was not ever personally that aware of. I also had no idea Orido had a love for the AW11, which was my own personal entry into light motorsports but it makes sense since i always loved slightly quirky cars and i remember him being made fun of on Hot Version for liking "Odd" cars by the other presenters standards. That car taught me so much about driving! I wish it would not have rusted out from under me (i bought one with issues, my fault) but many fond memories. The final thing from stateside i would add that one wonders if has made any moves oversea is the rise of the 2GR V6 into these cars, especially the SW20, its become huge here! THANK YOU SO MUCH!

noticed dk never onced usded the handbrake when compared to modern day drifters, and still yet managed to pull a sick drift, thats skill you don't get to see today often

Even though the Lancer evo understeers,(ex-owner of evo 6 tme),I can't accept that slapped together look is bad.Just look once at the evo 6,7,8 or 9 (10 was designed in Europe)they all look like a beauty compared to the bland supra,s2000 etc.And they also are f__king quick too!!My old evo 6 launched like a rocket!!

Swift is a JDM car??... We've had swift in India for like 20 years, but it is never seen as a"JDM" Car.. Just a daily driver (FWD), with no legroom in back, good milage & speed. But never in my life I have ever seen someone call it a JDM car. It's manufacturing company is Japanese, but I've never thought of it as JDM.

It’s really interesting seeing the differences in techniques here You can tell DK’s race pedigree kicks in and he very rarely lets the car self steer, even if it’s somewhat of a less optimal technique for drift, it’s still extremely impressive he is that precise on his steering work, also he seems to use a lot more load transfer than acceleration technique, really good to see these two run together
